Our December meeting was at Betty Ann's home. What a festive gathering! Betty had the cutest table top "Christmas tree". The tree was a large branch she had secured in a bucket and decorated with plain sugar cookies. What a fun, festive and simple idea!We started the evening with gingerbread martinis - YUMMY! We then decorated different sugar cookies that Betty purchased from Ikea - no idea they had cookies.
Of course we had a cookie swap. So many cookies - so little time. There were so many delicious cookies: Oatmeal Butterscotch, Raspberry Swirl, Chocolate Mint, Walnut crescent, Raspberry Almond Shortbread. All went home with plenty of each!
Cindy joined us as well... unfortunately it was after I had my camera out and totally forgot to take new pics!
