Its windy, cold, dark... welcome to January! We brought a little spice and heat by cooking with peppers.... mild, warm or omg HOT! We had a fabulous signature drink - Spicy Peach Margarita followed by a nice variety menu each highlighting a pepper in a different way.
As always there was a great variety of food... Mexican rice, stuffed poblano peppers, summer rolls with spicy peanut sauce, spicy Caribbean chicken wings, stuffed jalapeños and a turkey chili with corn cakes, open faced turkey & gouda and ham & cheddar sandwiches.

jalapeños ranged in heat... but they were stuffed with a cream cheese and jack cheese - wrapped in bacon - simply delish!

But of course the evening was not complete with out dessert!
The grand finale was served with hot coffee and your choice of Bailey's served with spicy chocolate brownies and a spicy chocolate cookie ~
spiced brookies. The cookies had a great amount of heat to them... nice rich chocolate followed by hint (or punch!) of heat. Simply yummy!

The brownies were baked with different sections.... a plain section, some with pecans, additionally hotness with red pepper flakes and the last section with chocolate chips.
