Strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, blackberries.... fresh, vibrant, colorful and yummy! Everyone hit this challenge head on and served wonderful dishes - both savory and sweet with a fabulous mixture of summer berries.
We met at Nina's home and her cutie daughter Zoe helped Betty prepare her appetizer. Goat cheese and strawberry crostini.

We kicked off the evening with prosecco and berries... a cool, crisp and pretty cocktail.
Cindy brought homemade pancakes with bacon, berries and local Norwell syrup. They were served in cute packages.

Jean and I went the savory route. Jean served grilled chicken with a sweet and sour blackberry sauce.

I made "lolly pop" chicken with a spicy habanero strawberry sauce and a savory blueberry sauce. The chicken pops were made from chicken wings - prepared to look like mini drumsticks.

Nina made blueberry, cheddar, jalapeno cornbread muffins. Great blend of sweet - savory - spicy.
We had a wonderful array of desserts... Angi brought chocolate & raspberry brownies... rich chocolate squares of fudgey goodness.
Jen brought a pillow of pavlova made with berries, pistachios and mascarpone all served on a colorful platter.
Denise brought trifle filled with whipped cream, pudding and of course - berries! I believe there was some Grand Marnier in there too.
